This year new busline started in #Haifa - called #Metronit (or smth like that). It runs on separated part of the road and that’s why it is independent from current traffic situation. Buses are designed to resemble trains and quite comfortable. There is 3 such lines right now. (в Haifa)

I like #bikes - though I really don’t know much on them. Just some kind of aesthetic pleasure, I would say, especially when I see them in interesting surroundings. #Jerusalem #Israel (в Nachlaot (נחלאות))

Today we went to Nachlaot neighbourhood in the center of the city - one of the oldest living quaters of the new #Jerusalem (outside of the walls of the Old City). Even new Nachlaot houses are still constructed the same as old ones and preserving that special atmosphere you feel while passing through streets, modern and antique at the same time. Mount Sodom,Israel - Mount Sodom is a hill along the southwestern part of the Dead Sea in Israel, part of the Judean Desert Nature Reserve. It is most remarkable because it is made almost entirely of halite, or rock salt. It is approximately five miles (8 km) long, three miles (5 km) wide, 742 feet (226 m) above the Dead Sea water level, yet 557 feet (170 m) below sea level.

I don’t really like cats, and this one was really agressive, sitting like “wtf are you doing at  my street drinking coffee and shit. Jerusalem actually known best (after antique and sacred stuff) for cats that occupied tge city long time ago. (в Agripas Street / רחוב אגריפס)

Hi there! So, I was registered on tumblr for a quite long time without writing anything at all, and now I’m going to change it.

I’m living in Jerusalem for last 7 years (and 8 years in Israel), originally coming from Russia, studying Japanese in Hebrew University as a major of my BA studies, working in the library and being deeply in love with books. In my plans is to write a lot about Israel, posting some photos of it, and books or films I read or watched recently. Well, it probably sounds not so interesting as I imagine to myself, but I hope somebody will find my new tumblr-blog useful or enjoyable.
